No. You will need to order your copy of the Formulae and Tables from the IFoA’s Publications Unit.
Printed textbooks are sent directly from our printers. In most cases they arrive within 4 to 5 working days of ordering. Items sent overseas may take considerably longer, so we recommend that you order as early as possible.

eBooks

Once your order has been received and processed, you will be sent 2 emails. The first one details what we have ordered for you and the second one will contain your eBook token. These are generally sent 2 to 3 working days after you place your order.
No, eBooks can only be used by downloading the VitalSource Bookshelf Application onto your PC before activating the token.

Yes, however, if you do print your eBook please be aware of the following.

VitalSource Bookshelf

You can print a maximum of 100% of the eBook and only 100 pages each time you log into your account. Multiple copies of the same page will all count towards the maximum allowance. We strongly recommend that you read our documentation (https://bppacted.com/eBooks.html) before printing any of your eBook.

An automatic watermark will be added to every page you are printing. This cannot be removed as it is part of the software settings. The print quality from printing your own eBooks is unlikely to be as high as a printed hard copy from BPP ActEd. BPP ActEd will not provide alternative soft copies to remove the watermark or to improve the print quality. Most materials can be purchased as a printed product if preferred.

Adobe Digital Editions (the eBook platform used prior to 2020)

The software will only let you print your eBook once from the device to which you first downloaded your eBook and you may only print 100% of the pages. Hence if you plan to print the material please first download it to a PC from which you are able to print.

Before you print, please ensure that:
(a) a working printer is connected to your PC and
(b) there is ample paper and toner in the printer

Failing to make these checks may result in a print failure and the software will not allow you to reprint again. You will lose your right to print a copy. Print gradually. Do not send the entire eBook to the printer in one job. Once you have used your print allowance, printing will not be possible and you will need to purchase a hard copy from ActEd.
